First off, the other person must be in WhatsApp. If they are, to add them to your contact list, click on the little pen icon. The add them to your contact list. Once they are added, go to your contact list and click on the telephone icon. 00

I have tried to do this before and was unsuccessful. You've either got to make it a be contact on your phone in the contacts list, or on the what's ap application. The only method you can use anonymously is placing an actual phone call. 00

Process is different for iPhone and Android. iPhone is convoluted. If iPhone, you must put that person in your contacts using country code with + before it, then copy only the ten digits for the local Ecuador # beginning with 099/098 to the Social Media cell below in your contacts.... 00
