Daniel Williams is an artist from the United States who made the bold choice to relocate to Ecuador in order to deepen his practice and dedicate himself to his art. In the years since, his evolution has been striking and each phase of his journey reflected in work that carries both emotional depth and creative intensity. His art stands as a testament not only to his growth as an artist, but to a continual process of personal transformation.
On May 13, he will be showing his new series entitled “Antagonista”
“Antagonista” explores the shifting roles we inhabit across our inner and outer lives—protagonist, antagonist, or something in between. Through archetype and metaphor, the work reflects on identity as something fluid and ever-changing, inviting us to consider the many selves we carry and the tensions that shape us.
Rendered primarily in ink, the pieces bring together religious and occult imagery with intricate linework and texture, moving between clarity and abstraction—between fragmentation and wholeness.
So mark your calendars and make sure you don’t miss this epic event. May 13 at 7 PM; only at idiomARTE.
