About Me

My name is Alex Arregui, a Marine Biologist with a Master’s degree from the University of Birmingham. I am a former researcher at the Charles Darwin Research Station and have been a 30-year resident of the Galápagos Islands. This isn’t just a destination for me; it’s my home.

• Standard 6-Week Courses: Available for all levels. These courses meet twice a week (1.5 hours per class) and focus on our Oral Approach methodology. you will master grammar, structure, and vocabulary through book readings, engaging conversation exercises, and cultural themes.
• Specialized Conversation Classes: Offered at three different levels to help you gain fluency and confidence in a supportive environment.

• Cultural Visits: Explore local traditions, history, and legends. Our tours are guided by experts, including artists, anthropologists, and archaeologists.

Every class session we have optional cultural lectures with local artisans, artists, archaeologists, and other people with knowledge of the cultural legacy and natural wealth of the country.
