Planned services include post-surgical care, companionship and assistance with activities of daily living, palliative and hospice care, emergency call button services, and educational seminars of interest to seniors.
Based on guidance from the Ministry of Health and our legal advisors, CCF expects to receive incorporation as a community-supported non-profit foundation in late May, with services launching in Q4 2026.
Significant foundational work has already been completed, including the development of nursing procedures and protocols; identification of required equipment and supplies; partnerships with local nursing schools; selection of an accounting team and client management and nurse scheduling software; and a successful initial fundraising campaign. This early support has validated strong demand for our services, particularly within the expat community.
CCF is now seeking applications for its Executive Director. Working closely with the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will provide visionary leadership; oversee day-to-day operations; ensure regulatory compliance; build community partnerships; and advance the Foundation’s mission and strategic goals. In collaboration with a consulting Medical Advisor, the Executive Director will recruit, manage, and support a growing team that will include a Director of Nursing, a Director of Client Relations (social worker), an office manager, and nursing supervisors, auxiliary nurses, and home care providers.
During its first year, CCF’s clients will primarily be expats. In years two and three, services will expand to support Cuencano families caring for elderly relatives.
