Improve balance — calm the nervous system.
Qigong is a low-impact movement practice that combines slow, controlled exercises with guided breathing and focused attention. we work step by step, focusing on one movement at a time, making it simple to follow and accessible for all levels.
The practice improves balance, coordination, joint mobility, and circulation while also helping regulate the nervous system and reduce stress. By training breath and movement together, you strengthen lung capacity — especially beneficial at Cuenca’s high altitude — and improve oxygen efficiency.
Conscious breathing plays a central role. Learning how to regulate your breath helps you stay calm under pressure, respond rather than react to stressful situations, and maintain mental clarity and focus. Over time, students often notice steadier balance, clearer thinking, and a greater sense of physical and emotional stability.
Qigong is closely related to Tai Chi but is generally simpler in structure, as it does not rely on long memorized sequences.
Suitable for all ages and fitness levels. No prior experience needed.
