We live in Portico del Ejido on Moreno Mora, and have a view of an interesting apartment building to the east of us called Edificio las Terrazas. We have walked over there and identified the building. There is an apartment on the west side of the building that we can see, and the owners have recently put out a large orange umbrella, and most recently, some strings of tiny white lights in some of the plants/trees on the terrace. They may even be the ones who play the excellent music sometimes in the afternoons, which we can enjoy while sitting out on our terrace after curfew. We just want them to know we enjoy the lights and the music, and appreciate them taking the time to put them out, when there is so much uncertainty and fear during the pandemic. As it gets dark and the lights are so pretty against the building, it is a nice sight in the darkness, symbolic of a time when we didn’t have to think of contagion and restrictions, and the hope of a brighter future.
