According to many on-line calendars, October 31 – November 4 will be National Holidays, thus a long weekend off. All Soul’s Day is November 2 – a Saturday. Sunday, November 3 is the celebration of the Independence of Cuenca and Monday, November 4th will be another National Holiday – day off. (Also the Independence of Azogues on November 4 – so Azogues will have some parades, too.) So, we have a 4 or 5 day weekend! Do you want to stay in Cuenca for a long weekend like this? When you rent a car for 5 days or more, we offer a 15% discount. Better yet, for a month’s rental there is a 40% discount. All rentals have unlimited mileage and insurance included for October. When you book, I deliver wherever you are – Quito, Guayaquil, Cuenca or elsewhere. Just let me know!
What better time is there to visit Ecuador? You can certainly be out enjoying nature and taking quiet drives with reduced traffic in the countryside. Remember to be patient when driving. We are hoping that the rainy season will begin soon, trees will blossom, flowers will bloom.
Looking to rent a vehicle in Cuenca or elsewhere in Ecuador? Many places are a little more difficult to reach by bus or van when you could rent a car or 4-wheel drive pickup from us and travel safely. While the idea is basically that you would drive, we also offer the option of a driver (for an additional fee, of course) to chauffeur you around the country. Benefit – You can enjoy the scenery and have conversations in English while you tour.
Our cars are late model, privately owned vehicles that we rent to you at a lower fee. The contract includes auto insurance. They are kept in top shape, but in the event that you have a problem, we are willing and able to help. Our customers have driven all over Ecuador.
Another benefit – we meet you. If you need the car at your house, we deliver. If you are flying into Cuenca, Guayaquil or Quito, we can meet you at the airport or hotel to put the car at your disposal. We speak English fluently so no problem with a mix-up in translation.
Our policy is that we lay out all the details in your English language contract so there are no surprises at the end of the day – no extra charges popping up to be settled when you return the car, no Spanish that can be misunderstood.
