Solo travel and independent living abroad: a free online conversation

May
12

As part of this year’s Solo Aging Visibility Day (SAVVY Day), I’m excited to share an upcoming free online table talk “The World Awaits: Navigating the Joy and Logistics of Solo Travel” hosted through the Navigating Solo Network.

This is my second year participating as a SAVVY Day Ambassador representing Ecuador, and one of the things I appreciate most about these conversations is how honestly they explore independence, resilience, planning, freedom, and connection while living and aging more independently.

This upcoming conversation will focus on solo travel and navigating the practical and emotional realities of traveling independently later in life.

The discussion will feature experienced solo travelers sharing personal stories, insights, and practical strategies around:

• confidence while traveling solo
• planning and preparation
• independence abroad
• resilience and adaptability
• creating meaningful experiences while traveling alone

Whether you’re already living abroad, considering it, or simply curious about more intentional independent living, this conversation may resonate.

– Online (Zoom)
– Tuesday, May 12
– 5 PM Bogotá / Ecuador Time
