Learn practical, real-life Spanish, build confidence for everyday situations, and connect through culture, conversation, and community. At Vamos, communication comes first—through practical language, small groups, and hands-on cultural activities that help you use Spanish confidently in your everyday life in Cuenca.
We’re now enrolling for Spanish courses starting May 18th/19th and May 25th/26th available for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
Our small group classes (maximum 5 students) follow a relaxed but steady pace, with sessions held twice a week, two hours each day, over five weeks (20 total hours). An initial level assessment ensures you’re placed in the right group. Courses are specially designed for students over 50 (but not exclusively), with a strong focus on listening and speaking skills.
Course Fee: $150 — includes a workbook and access to three cultural activities every other Friday (Ecuadorian cooking, fruit tasting, guided walks, dance, film screenings).

Beginners 2: Tue and Thu 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM – Starting on May 19th
Beginners 3: Mon and Wed 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM – Starting on May 18th
Beginners 4 : Mon and Wed 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM – Starting on May 18th
Upper beginners: Tue and Thur 2 to 4 PM – Starting on May 19th
Intermediate 1: Tue and Thur 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM – Starting on May 19th
Intermediate 2: Mon and Wed 10:30 AM-12:30 PM – Starting on May 25th
Intermediate 3: Tue and Thur 10:30 AM – 12: 30 PM – Starting on May 26th
Intermediate 4: Mon and Wed 2 to 4 PM – Starting on May 18th
Upper-Intermediate: Wed 3:30 to 5:30 PM and Friday 2 to 4 PM – Starting on May 20th
Advanced: Mon and Wed, 1:30-3:30 PM – Starting on May 18th
