I have a new US Passport. I currently have an Investor visa and have moved my CD from Banco del Austro to a new $42,500 electronic CD at JEP. How do I get my new Passport # linked to my new JEP CD? Can it be done at Customs when entering the country using old and new passports?

There are a lot of variables when you are discussing visas, like when you obtained your visa, if it's permanent or temporary, and so on. If it's permanent and you obtained it in 2017 or after, you don't even have to maintain the CD that you used to qualify for it. It is no longer a requirement to keep it. But under the pre 2017 rules you do need to keep it connected to your visa.Read more00

Not to be a jerk, but I question the wisdom of using one's full name with such identifiable wealth and locations.
Personally Identifiable Information should not be on a public posting.
I would caution more discretion, as this info can go far and wide. 00

I would suggest that you check with someone who handles this sort of thing as part of their business. I used Monica Gonzaga and the process worked fine, taking several days, including two visits to Azogues. I had her and her staff represent me through a power of attorney, so... I had her and her staff represent me through a power of attorney, so about all I had to do was authorize the process, pay the fees, and wait.Read more00

Last December when I can through immigration they didn't need to see my Visa. It was all online now.
However YMMV since this is EcuadorRead more00

Why not do the obvious thing and ask JEP. I'm sure they have the information you are looking for. 00
