Seeking Cooperativo investment experience

I have chosen 2 Cooperativos for CD Investments. But I am concerned about collecting the funds at the end of the term of the CDs. Unfortunately I have read of clients having difficulty withdrawing at certain Coops.

Seeking advice from persons who have cashed out on CD Investments with any advice, recommendations or precautions.

can recommend "Jardin Azuayo", never had problems, lowest fees, CDs don't renew automatically, cash gets dropped into account instead 0 0

Why did JEP deposit and withdraw the amounts of CDs into and out of savings account before liquidating them, affecting certain government reporting requiring highest amount in the account? 0 0

Just be sure to advise before maturity date that you will be cashing out or it will renew automatically. 0 0

You need to inform them 5 days before the maturity date. Make sure you get it a letter signed by them acknowledging that you won’t be renewing. 0 0

If you don't do that it will auto-renew whether you want it or not and you will not be able to cash it out. The expiry date is not really an expiry date. I learned that from experience. My two year CD rolled over to another 2 year CD. It's... 0 0

only for JEP. My experience with JEP was that even with the 5 days advance notice, they STILL renewed my CD. I got an attorney to unravel it and got my money. The agents receive a renewal commission, so it happened to me more than once. Only JEP requires the... 0 0

Too many issues with land investment in my opinion. Not only is it a tough resell, but there are usually construction problems (ventilation, etc) that perhaps an owner will put up with but a potentional buyer will be turned off by. 0 0
