I leave for US next week. Where can I get first shot of Pfizer vaccine here in Cuenca? Thanks in advance. Please no anti-vaxxers. I’ve heard it all from my friend, Roger who passed 3 weeks ago from Covid.

In the USA anywhere including walk-in shots at supermarkets such as Publix, Wal Mart etc. The J&J vax is just as good and a one shot. The best part it is all free. 00

Thanks to all the information here! Just returned from Colegio Sagrados Corazones where we were able to get the first dose of Pfizer. 00

I'm not sure you need it here to get into the US. My friend Carol flew to Miami 3 weeks ago and got the J&J one shot there (she had choices there, but chose J&J for expediency), so she could enter Canada this week. 00

The U.S. is not accepting vax cards in lieu of testing at this time. Has to be PCR/Antigen within 3 days of flight. I hope this changes. 00

You are right but that is especially true if entering the US illegally over the Southern Border. 00

Colegio Benigno Malo off of Salano was giving the Phizer vaccine last week. I will have my second dose there next month. Cedula was all that I needed as a walk in with no appointment. 00

You can have it in any vaccination point in Cuenca . If you are 16 an on. It’s free. They let you choose. I had my se one dosis last week. Just they ask your cédula or passport. 00

Last week they were giving the Pfizer vaccine at University of Cuenca. I don't know if they still are this week. 00

I have an appointment there Monday for my second vaccine. I use the term "appointment" loosely, as that's the date shown on my first vaccine certificate. On July 3, I just showed up and they gave me the jab, no questions asked other than my cedula. Quick in and out... 00

Vaccine selection here for the first jab is impossible, even according to Cuencanos. Fort the second vaccine It's different. I doubt that the centers even know until the personnel show up with the vaccines that morning. And you have to have a 72 hr negative PCR to get to the... Vaccine selection here for the first jab is impossible, even according to Cuencanos. Fort the second vaccine It's different. I doubt that the centers even know until the personnel show up with the vaccines that morning. And you have to have a 72 hr negative PCR to get to the U.S. So why not just save yourself the aggravation, let someone else get your first dose here, and have everything in the states where you can likely find a Pfizer on demand? Just a friendly suggestion, have a safe trip!Read more00

A 3 day PCR or Antigen test is required for entry into U.S. 00

not everyone can get to the states easily,,, some locations are throwing out vaccines at the end of the day no less. I did get mine in the states but not everyone has that luxury. i think people should get it as soon as they are able regardless, I live... 00
