Hi there it’s Amy. I am residing in Cuenca, and I am not a US citizen nor resident. My daughter is studying in Boston. I am planning to see her in early June. I have a US tourist visit visa which is valid. Does anybody know whether I can enter the states as a tourist from Ecuador? Any restrictions at the moment?

Hi Amy,
It may be worth checking the U.S. Embassy (Quito) page for travel restrictions here: https://ec.usembassy.gov/es/visas-es/viajes-y-turismo/ I think you'll find links to covid-related travel restrictions. Also, TSA's covid info site is worth a look: https://www.tsa.gov. Best of luck to you! 00

You can enter anywhere in the U.S. with a negative PCR or antigen test,
but you need to check the state requirements regarding quarantine. 00

Yes you can you need the antigen or PCR. There was an advised self quarantine of 5-10 days when I went to Miami- check the specific state rules.
I went as a UK resident living in Ecuador recently . Keep checking government websites for the most up to date info 00
