WiFi access in Cuenca

I will be staying in Cuenca for approx. a month. I do work remotely and WiFi connections are important to me.

What can I expect both within an Airbnb and around town at coffee shops, clubs and various local areas?

Don't expect speeds over 120mps anywhere in the city, (unless you're paying the bill personally..) and anything above 20-50mps outside of a business or private residence would be quite remarkable. For OP's benefit, I have a Claro SIM and a montly plan for 12GB of 5G or LTE depending on location. Unlimited Facebook & WhatsApp, other discounts that I don't use. I barely touch the data except for maps. $13 a month. I could tether that if needed. I also... 0 0
