All the news from R’ Gourmet

Hey, Robert here to tell you what is going on at R’ Gourmet.

• First, of course, the Wednesday special and this week we are back to our Franco-Canadian roots with our Poutine and French Onion Soup as the star actors.
Our Poutine, with our classic fries, house-made cheese curds and our 72-hour reduction gravy, at $7. And our French Onion Soup, with slowly caramelized onions and cheese broiled to perfection, at $9 but hold on to your socks, unlike the previous Wednesday specials this soup comes along with a cup of house wine of your choice.
As usual for Wednesday specials, the Poutine comes with a soft drink or house beer included. Two classics, one Wednesday to enjoy them.

• Second, a new tradition is born, starting Thursday 10th.
Ever wonder what it’s like to try a bottle-only wine without buying the bottle? That’s exactly the idea behind Wine Thursdays.
Every Thursday, we will select a wine from our list, one we normally serve by the bottle only, and open a limited number just to offer it by the glass. A simple way to explore something new without committing to a full bottle.
This week, we’re pouring: Navarro Correas Colección Privada Syrah 2024 at $6 per glass.

Syrah brings real depth and character to food, and this is a good moment to explore that for yourself. Come discover this week’s wine at R’ Gourmet.

• Third but not last, an early announcement of our Italian Wines event, a 4-course evening paired with 2 Italian wines, made for those who love to eat slowly and with intention. See the picture and start salivating.
Limited seating. Total $34, reserve with $12. An evening made for sharing, savoring, and slowing down.
