This Saturday, we are excited to officially open our doors for the grand opening of our new house!
In true idiomARTE style, we’ll have various cultural moments happening throughout the night. This is your chance to check out the entire house, visit the artists in their studios, take a gander at the artwork in our new art shop, browse the book selection in our library, gather with old friends, and maybe make some new ones along the way!
We’ll open the doors at 6 PM and wind down around 10 PM.
Besides the grand open house, what else can you expect?!
• Tasty treats by Taita Panadería
• Cash bar featuring delicious craft beer made right here in Cuenca
• Musical performances by the Grace Youth Orchestra violin section
• AfroChonta music and dance
• Salsa dancing with Yunior Hernández and the El Domingón crew
• Afrobeat music with Noel Batista (DJ Newe)
We’re looking forward to celebrating this next chapter of idiomARTE with all of you. There’s a lot happening in this new space, and plenty of new ideas and programs already brewing.
