Working with Federal Benefits Unit (FBU) of the Social Security Administration

1) I’ve not been able to create a new login for the online access portals for Social Security (login”gov or id”me. I’m just going in circles.

2) Does anyone have experience with the Federal Benefits Unit to assist with SSA documents?

3) Is there a FBU in Ecuador?

4) If not, where is the one that I should use? I understand there is one in Costa Rica and one in the Dominican Republic. Or?

5) What is your experience with them? Are they helpful? What type of turnaround can I expect?

I know for a fact both of those sites are more than challenging. The Federal Benefits Unit (FBU) that serves all U.S. citizens in Ecuador is located in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
