At Vamos, communication comes first—through practical language, small groups, and hands-on cultural activities that help you use Spanish confidently in your everyday life in Cuenca.
We’re now enrolling for Spanish courses starting February 23rd/24th and March 2nd/3rd available for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
Our small group classes (maximum 5 students) follow a relaxed but steady pace, with sessions held twice a week, two hours each, over five weeks (20 total hours). An initial level assessment ensures you’re placed in the right group. Courses are specially designed for students over 50 (but not exclusively), with a strong focus on listening and speaking skills.
Course Fee: $150 — includes a workbook and access to three cultural activities every other Friday (Ecuadorian cooking, fruit tasting, guided walks, dance, film screenings).

Beginners 1: Tue and Thu 8:30 to 10:30 AM – Starting on March 3rd
Beginners 2: Mon and Wed 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM – Starting on March 2nd
Upper Beginners: Tue and Thur 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM – Starting on Feb 24th
Intermediate 1: Mon and Wed 10:30 AM-12:30 PM – Starting on March 2nd
Intermediate 2: Tue and Thur 2 – 4 PM – Starting on March 3rd
Intermediate 3: Mon and Wed 2 – 4 PM – Starting on March 23rd
Upper-Intermediate: Tue and Thur 2 to 4 PM – Starting on March 24th
Advanced: Mon and Wed, 1:30-3:30 PM – Starting on March 23rd
