We would like to highly recommend Mateo Arias as a facilitator/translator who we have known and worked with for the past 18 months. Mateo is a native Cuencano who is fluent in English, French and Italian. Over the past 18 months, he has helped us with a variety of issues or problems that arose.
He has attended appointments with a dermatologist as well as a general medical doctor. He has also gone to Etapa with us to help establish our new internet service and ensured that we also got the senior discount we were eligible for. While at Etapa, we also got our senior Tranvia passes and he then took us on the Tranvia to show us the closest stop for getting to the theater.
Mateo has also come to our home several times: once to call Quito to get our Tipti account straightened out and another time to speak with a local delivery service about a lost package they had been trying to deliver. He also worked with us to get our local bank set up online so that bills could be paid automatically each month.
