My husband and I did not want to be in Cuenca with no healthcare coverage so contacted Daniela. She discussed several options with us as they have many different plans to choose from. Daniela tailors her plan recommendations for each client given that everyone’s needs are different. We chose a plan that is very comprehensive and is one third the cost of our health insurance in the US that we cannot access. This plan also covers us in several other countries in South America as well as the US (for limited durations) when we travel back to see friends and family there. The plan we chose allows us to choose any provider we wish including specialists.
Daniela, while Ecuadorian, is fluent in English. Her services include going with us to doctors appointments to ensure translation is clear, filing our invoices for reimbursement (can you imagine getting that service in the US?), and helping us to navigate the healthcare system here in Ecuador.
Daniela’s demeanor is very sweet and kind and she is most attentive. She truly cares about her clients and goes above and beyond with her customer service. She coordinated the purchase and delivery today of my specialty medication. I am so very grateful to her!
