Two words – American Chop Suey. OK, so that is three words but a taste extravaganza. I am not sure why they call this dish chop suey but once you taste it, you won’t care either. If you are unfamiliar with American Chop Suey, it is macaroni noodles, green peppers, onions, ground beef mixed in a tomato sauce. Ours is a gourmet version using our Rao’s – like sauce and served with garlic bread. It is simply out of this world. Our American Chop Suey Special is $6.95. When we serve this dish, which isn’t often, it goes very fast so order quick, first come, first serve.
Here is our menu – by the way, we added a new sandwich call the Castro…it is, as we say in the north, wicked good.
1. Bacon Cheese Burger (we cannot get Smokehouse Bacon at the moment, but as soon as we can we will go back to using it on our burgers) – 5 oz. of ground beef cooked to perfection, topped with bacon, cheddar cheese, onions, lettuce and tomatoes and Professor Pat’s Bar-B-Que sauce – $7.50/$5 – On Five Buck Friday

3.Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich – The Closest thing to a real Philly Cheesesteak in Cuenca – Lomo Fino cooked to perfections with Sauteed Peppers and Onions with Cheddar & Mozzarella Cheese packed into a freshly baked sub roll – $7.95/$5 – On Five Buck Friday

5. Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos – “Better than Bone Fish Grill” – Lightly breaded and fried shrimp (from the sea, Not farmed), our homemade cole slaw and our proprietary bang bang sauce. Each order comes with 2 big tacos – $7.95 – $6.95 on Bang-Bang Shrimp Taco Thursdays
6. Quintessentially Quixotic Quesadilla – This Ain’t Jo Mamma’s Quesadilla – Our quesadilla is BIG…we’re talkin’ really big. It is crammed full of ingredients including chicken or beef, sauteed onions and peppers, corn, black beans and cheese. – $6.50/$5 – On Five Buck Friday
Also, our stir fry went over so well yesterday we are adding it to the menu permanently. Our stir fry is awesome and has tons of fresh veggies including zucchini, summer squash, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, broccoli and cauliflower. If you stopped there it would be a hell of a vegetarian meal. But we have beef, chicken and shrimp that can be added to it. On top of that we have two sauces, teriyaki and coconut curry, each is amazing. The prices are great too. Vegetarian $6/$5 – On Five Buck Friday, Chicken or Beef $7/$5 – On Five Buck Friday and Shrimp $8. This is a crazy good meal for a very reasonable price and you can have it delivered to your door.
