Discover the sound and rhythm of castanets — a lively percussion instrument rooted in the traditions of southern Spain and its surrounding regions.
In this introductory, hands-on workshop, you’ll get familiar with the castanets, warm up with simple exercises, and explore basic rhythms as you learn to accompany a song. The class is practical and relaxed, designed to enjoy the process while connecting movement and music.
Playing castanets is a full-body experience. It supports coordination, focus, and the connection between hands and mind through rhythmic finger movement.
A space to learn, move, and let the rhythm carry you.
