As the suggestions, and our prior research, showed, there are many ways that we can do online sessions, but the strength of what we were doing was the personal interaction among the members of the various groups, and the personal interactions within each group.
We were not able to find a way to continue that without participants being in the same physical space.
There are a number of excellent online resources for those who are learning to speak Spanish, and we see no reason to duplicate them. We urge you to investigate which of those services will meet your needs and to avail yourself of their offerings.
As of now, the in-person Monday Conversational Spanish Sessions are on indefinite hiatus.
Thank you to all of the wonderful Native Spanish Speakers who volunteered their time to teach and help the participants during the sessions. And, thank you to all of the participants who made the commitment to take part and make the sessions as successful as they were.
