Jhon of JD’s Muebles has a shop on Calle Larga where he sells furniture, etc., he has purchased from expats and Ecuadorians. Recently he purchased our furniture, appliances, electronics and other items (tools, kitchenware, etc.). We had already relocated from Ecuador back to the USA for work and health issues. Since I had limited time to sell and rejoin my wife in the USA, I asked Jhon to look over everything and give me a quote. He was reasonable and offered fair prices, and he even made upward adjustments on some of his quotes, upon my request.
Jhon had a professional staff pick up everything, so I did not need to transport anything or have numerous buyers come to my apartment for purchases. The whole process went very smoothly and Jhon was a pleasure to work with. I believe he is an honorable man who has good intentions for all concerned. He even helped with transferring the funds to my bank account in the USA.
I highly recommend Jhon and JD’s muebles for sale or purchase of household goods. My only regret is that I did not get to know him while living in Cuenca for over six years.
