Discover the expressive possibilities of collography, an accessible and experimental printmaking technique that transforms everyday materials into richly textured prints. Over three afternoons, you will explore how surface, composition, and inking work together to balance intention with unpredictability.
Led by artist Daniel Williams, this hands-on workshop encourages play, experimentation, and discovery. Through demonstrations, guided practice, and collaborative printing sessions, participants learn how material choices and construction methods directly shape the final image.
The workshop moves from introduction and plate construction to printing and refinement, giving participants time to develop, test, and deepen their work.
By the end of the workshop, participants will leave with a completed printing block, multiple original prints, and a strong foundation in experimental printmaking techniques.
