Tommy and Manchas are two smaller and very sweet dogs, between 1 and 2 years, who hope to become members of a loving family in 2026!
For more than a year, the boys have been kept in inhumane conditions — confined (along with a third dog!) in very small dirt enclosure and with just a bare wooden pallet to sleep on. (Please note: The photos included below do not show their current actual living conditions; these were taken one special day when concerned neighbors were allowed to take the boys for their very first walk outside their enclosure.)
After much effort, a caring couple has persuaded their neighbor to finally release the dogs so they can live a much better and happier life. Tommy and Manchas don’t need much. They’ve only ever lived outside, so they could still be outdoor dogs. They just need a safe area with room to actually be able to move around and play and adequate shelter from the sun/rain. Their sterilizations and vaccinations will be paid for, and if needed, a new dog house will also be happily provided.
This ad is being posted on behalf of the couple who is handling the rescue/adoption of Tommy and Manchas. Although the couple is traveling outside of Cuenca until January 2, in the meantime they can still answer any questions about the dogs. Their WhatsApp contact information is at the bottom of the post, and they are bilingual.
Even if you can’t adopt or foster these two little guys, would you please help by spreading the word and sharing their photos on your Facebook and other social media accounts? Thank you from Tommy and Manchas!
