The next coming holidays in Ecuador will be Christmas and New Year.
On Christmas, the 24th will be a half working day and the 25th a free day and, returning to work on the 26th, but, if your worker(s) want to take the 26th off, you can deduct that from the yearly vacations or your worker(s), can work one hour more per day the next days, until they cover the working time they do for you in a regular way (4, 6, 8 hours).
New Years, the 31st, will be also a kind of half working day and day off on January 1st and since President Noboa signed the executive order, giving a day off January 2nd… but, that day will have to be recovery, working an hour a day, in the next working days… or, if your worker(s) wants to work on January 2nd, is a matter to be decided between your worker and you.
