I would like to recommend Alex Arregui as your personal tour guide when traveling to the Galapagos Islands. Having just returned to Cuenca from a jam packed, 10 day fun filled adventure of (Santa Cruz, Isabela and San Cristobal), I can tell you he is the best guide around with 30 years of experience.
Alex saw to every detail of our trip and ensured our comfort and safety (3 single ladies). No task was too great or small, he organized our accommodations, meals, inter-island ferries, taxis, boat tours, snorkeling tours, walking tours and even shopping (for me).
I was amazed at the biodiversity that each island had to offer and his respect for each species we encountered. Snorkeling was amazing!!! Saw so much marine life and my favorites sea turtles and bottlenose dolphins! He had answers for all of our questions.
I was so impressed with Alex and his knowledge as a Marine Biologist, and conservationist I will be booking another tour February, 2026 to see some of the other islands.
