Come ride with me! I love to drive people around town or around the country. I am fluent in English and enjoy a good conversation. I don’t get distracted when you speak English (some drivers take their attention off the road to translate mentally while driving – that is extremely dangerous). I also know the roads – something that is important if you need to get somewhere.
I’ve worked with English speakers for over 12 years in Cuenca. I’ve been told my English is excellent and my driving is also excellent – US standards – so you don’t end up biting your knuckles and wondering “when will this be over.” I know the good places to visit. Small towns around the area are full of fascinating and exciting opportunities. Maybe you want to see how a guitar is made, visit an orchid farm, check out jewelry, clothing, or shoe manufacturers. I’ve taken guests to all these places and even to a nearby site where you can see ruins of ancient civilizations. Contact me, tell me what you need, and we’ll see what we can work out.
