Each 4-week course delves into a unique cultural, social, or artistic topic, with vocabulary and concepts thoughtfully integrated into every lesson.
One of our upcoming classes is “Mitos y Leyendas en los Andes”—a journey into the myths and legends that have shaped Andean communities, past and present.
In this class, you will:
– Learn vocabulary, concepts, and context related to Andean mythology
– Discover traditional stories from Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador
– Analyze their symbolism within social, cultural, and religious frameworks
– Explore their role in the Andean worldview—nature, deities, life cycles
– Enjoy a special guest session and creative writing activity with Ecuadorian author Gabriela Barco
Class Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:30 – 4 PM
Dates: April 22 – May 15
Cost: $105 (includes guest speaker session)
Classes are held in Spanish, so a minimum level of A2 (advanced beginner) is recommended. A brief placement test will help confirm your readiness.
