Do you love cheese, but wonder how it’s made? Come to our Mozzarella Cheese Making Workshop and learn all about the magic of cheese. Our workshop will take place April 9th from 10 AM to 1 PM. The workshop will cover the basics of beginner cheese making skills.
We will provide a ride from Chiquintad to the farm and from the farm to Chiquintad afterwards. You can get to Chiquintad via bus #26 or a taxi ($6-7) depending on where you are in Cuenca.
The workshop will include the following:
1. Tour of the farm
2. Making mozzarella
3. Steps to making the mozzarella and a hands-on approach to everything involved
4. Tour of our cheese making facility
5. Making your own personal pizza using the cheese you’ve made
6. Eating a delicious pizza fresh from our wood-fire oven
7. Heading home with a full belly and some of your own homemade Mozzarella
The workshop is $30/adults and $15/kids. A great time for good food and learning.
