We here at Hacienda Gran Roca, the first certified organic farm in Southern Ecuador, have planned a delicious, nutritious, and exciting Mother’s Day celebration in the honor of our mothers’ dedication and loving care.
Most of the ingredients we use, including our meats, vegetables, eggs and milk products are harvested fresh from our farm and enable us to create our own special recipes using many of the unique ingredients we grow and raise. All of our animals are raised on pasture, not in houses!
In addition to the lavish meal, the celebration will include the performance of some of the most hauntingly beautiful ‘Songs of Love’ you’ve ever heard from historic Broadway Musicals, sung live with accompaniment.
Our feast for this event begins with a choice of two of our amazing soups (that we may start selling in stores): our already legendary vegetarian Garden Vegetable Soup (guaranteed to cure what ails you) or our new low-carb Pulled Chicken Zucchini-Noodle Soup, both accompanied with our exclusive tasty Vegetable Fritters.
Our entrees will start with our home-grown Turkey and Lamb cooked in our exclusive competition smoker. In addition, we’ll be making a tasty mix of Smoked Turkey with Mixed Vegetables and second tasty mix of Vegetarian Marinated Mixed Vegetables for our vegetarian guests.
We will again be making our legendary Fresh Herbed Stuffing/Dressing. It takes much more time to make, but no other recipe compares.
We’ll be making a number of our customer favorite dishes including our own Potato Rounds, Corn Pudding Casserole, Glazed Sliced Carrots, and our always special, Cranberry Compote.
Our dessert will be a smooth and delicious Chocolate Mousse topped with Strawberries and Whipped Cream.
As you can see, no one goes home hungry from a Gran Roca event!
To our vegetarian friends…you will hardly miss the Turkey and Lamb. To our friends that are sensitive to gluten…the menu is gluten free.
The cost of our premier Mother’s Day Celebration is $20. That includes all the food options and a cocktail fruit punch welcome drink. (There will also be a cash bar.)
