It’s holiday time, and we’re ready to go. We’ve got a few recipes from our 2023 Holiday Desserts and Treats menu as well as savory quiches and a nod to Cuenca on her 203rd birthday.
Strawberry Mango Trifles: $3 each
In honor of Cuenca’s Independence Day celebration we bring you Cuenca’s colors in a trifle. Fresh strawberries and mangos layered with our special cream and vanilla cake.
Tea Ring: $2/slice
Tender sweet roll filled with cinnamon and brown sugar baked into a ring and finished with a powdered sugar glaze and Maraschino cherries
Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies: $1 each
Soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies studded with crunchy walnuts
Pumpkin Pie: $3.25/slice ~ $25/full
If you haven’t already tried it, here’s your chance to get only a slice of our pumpkin pie before you decide how many full pies you want to order for your holiday meal dessert.
Flourless Chocolate Cake: $3.25/slice ~ $26 full
Instead of mini-cakes, we’re bringing you our famous Flourless Chocolate Cake in a full-size form. It’s the perfect sweet option for chocolate purists and gluten avoiders alike.
Gingerbread Biscotti: $2 each
Crunchy, twice-baked gingerbread just begging to be dunked in coffee or tea.
Chicken Jalapeño Popper Quiche: $3.75/slice ~ $30/full
Roasted chicken, jalapeños, and cream cheese make this quiche the ideal option for those who like the zestier things in life.
Guacamole Quiche: $3.25/slice ~ $25 full
No, not really guacamole, but all of those same flavors and textures in a quiche. Avocado, cherry tomatoes, red onion, a hint of lime. We’ll leave the heat out of this one, and you’re on your own with the cilantro.
The best way to get exactly what you want is to pre-order by 3 PM on Tuesday, October 31. Otherwise, we’ll see you on Saturday, November 4 between 10 AM and 2 PM at the biggest and best weekend feria in Cuenca–Gran Feria Sabatino’s.
