Received this response from the US Embassy in Santo Domingo regarding form 7162:

We cannot accept the forms electronically. In order to submit your form, you must take the following actions:

Complete the SSA-7162 form (Pdf-59Kb) if: you receive payments in your own name.
Complete the SSA-7161 form (Pdf-74Kb) if: you receive payments through a representative payee.

Please make sure to include:

Social Security Number;
Signature (Note: we cannot accept digital or electronic signatures)
Date

Well, this is a step up. We at least have a street address in Santo Domingo and I can DHL/FedEx directly there instead of to my niece in the US who has been mailing mine. And I'll have confirmation it was delivered. 0 0
