In order to promote your book, a good advice is to make your own website and link from your website to your book on Amazon. This will allow you to promote your book not only in Amazon but also in Google (using Google Ads) and in Facebook/Instagram (using Meta Ads).
But every website is a different challenge, and websites about a single book are not an exception.
I have made many websites and helped many people with different website ideas. For instance, I did a website for the Jazz Society Cafe (jazzsocietycafe.com), which is an e-commerce website. I helped Jerry Straka finish a website for a startup drop shipping business idea (llamadollies.com). I’ve made websites here in Ecuador for car dealerships (solucionautos.com), “Cooperativas de Ahorro y Crédito” (coacjunin.fin.ec), insurance broker, personal websites etc.
However, months ago one of my brothers who lives in the Netherlands told me he wanted to make a website to promote his first book called “The Androktones”. So, I started looking for free themes specially made only to promote one single book. I found one that I loved because it is so simple and yet so perfect for this subject in particular. It is a simple landing page, with big buttons to link to Amazon or to wherever you have your book on the internet. It has sections to let the user read the first chapters or the first pages of your book, sections for the author, just what a new writer wants. This is how I managed to make his website (eduardo-osorio.com). Later on, I did a similar one to promote an incredibly useful book called “How to become an expat” written by Ann Fourt (northoakbooks.com). I’m offering these kinds of websites with the same free template in order to keep prices low. Although of course I can make any other design or one of a kind layouts for a higher cost.
