Held over! Transferencia: Impressions of Cuenca
By popular demand, see this art show through April 29.
This art exhibition showcases the work of 8 women artists who created a body of work here in Historic Cuenca. The works all began with the transfer (frottage or rubbing) of architectural designs in El Centro. Each artist used a variety of techniques to finish the works. Don’t miss this opportunity to see this unique art work.
The art project was done to explore a new idea, to have fun art-making, and to support the Mujeres Con Exito foundation in Cuenca. Mujeres Con Exito is an arm of the Casa Maria del Amor, which has been recognized by the UN as a model for helping women and children victims of abuse.

This very collectible body of artwork is offered for sale at great prices, and proceeds go the the Mujeres Con Exito. It’s a great combo: Get a unique artwork of Cuenca for your home, and give support to this important foundation.
