Fernando Juca, MD MSc specializes in Regenerative Medicine for Chronic Pain and is licensed to dispense Medical Marijuana for appropriate conditions.
Another option is Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), which consists of placing an injection of the client’s platelets in an affected area such as shoulder, elbow, knee, hip, ankle, foot, and spine. It may also help tendons and ligament issues such as a calcaneal spur, frozen shoulder, bursitis, tendon ruptures, and hypertrophic scars, among many other applications.
Also available is Neural Therapy, which was developed in Germany and is practiced extensively in Europe and Russia. It diagnoses and treats local disturbances of the autonomic nervous system and is useful in treating chronic pain and disease. Micro-doses of procaine is injected into certain locations of the body, re-educating the nervous system, and reducing pain
During your initial consult, Dr. Juca will do a comprehensive Medical History and Physical Exam and will order appropriate lab/blood work, which can be taken care of at our In-house Clinical Laboratory. Once your assessment is complete, he will recommend a treatment plan to address your pain.
Fernando Juca, MD, has a Masters in Biological Testing & Diagnosis with additional Certifications in Cellular Medicine, Molecular Diagnostics, Neural Therapy, IV Nutrition, Medical Marijuana, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Chelation. He is a Professor at Universidad Catolica de Cuenca teaching Pathology.
