The GRACE Foundation is growing and we can use your help. This year has been challenging for our clients and guests and it has forced us to make bold moves to meet our mission and goals. Our mission at GRACE has been and will remain to help alleviate the barriers that impede the successful integration of refugees into society, aiding the transition from refugee to neighbor wherever they are at. As those needs grow, GRACE must grow.
Our small project in Cuenca has grown and now we are transitioning to larger areas and into more cities and countries. Soon GRACE will have a presence in more than 5 cities and 3 countries. Your continued support has been vital for our planning and success with our programs.
We have been given a new opportunity for a funding platform that will help us support our growth for years to come. Today we launch the GRACE Vanilla Initiative.
We have generously received a matching donation of $250,000 towards the construction and maintenance of a large vanilla greenhouse on the coast of Ecuador. This is roughly half the value of what a normal building would cost. In addition, the GRACE Foundation will receive all the proceeds from the sale of the vanilla from this building for the next 15 years to fund their ministry operations with the refugee programs. This is a super unique opportunity for GRACE and we are excited for what lies ahead.
But, we need your help. Your tax-deductible donation becomes a gift that truly keeps giving. One small donation of $50 or more could mean thousands of dollars for GRACE over the course of 15 years as your gift multiplies and grows.
What the GRACE Foundation gets:
– One giant organic vanilla greenhouse in Guayas, Ecuador
– Vanilla production of about 1 ton (1000-1400 kilos) of vanilla beans per year
– All the proceeds from the international sales of that vanilla per year
– Additional and new resources for continued operations for the next 15 years
What you as a donor get:
– A tax deductible receipt for your initial donation from the GRACE 501-c3
– A bottle of two (2) high “Grade A” Vanilla Republic vanilla beans
– Additional yearly gifts of Vanilla related products made with love from the GRACE Entrepreneurship programs (Extracts, Cosmetics, Candies, Infusions, others to come)
