I am a US-based emergency physician (25 years) and live in Cuenca. After my wife needed urgent neck surgery for a rare medical issue, we consulted Dra. Mancera. We found her to be extremely skilled and expert. She rapidly arranged for the delicate operation, which she and a second expert neck surgeon performed together over a 4 hour period. Because I was also a physician, she took videos and photos of the key portions of the operation so I could be included in the post-operative care. Over the next month, we saw her on a regular basis for follow-up and together managed a few post-operative complications.
