Attention Expats, I was at Azogues yesterday and I gathered this information. I hope it is useful. My immigration attorney asked for it since Azogues changes the requirements often.
I posted a new change about getting a cedula in another posting. The office has changed requirements for my cedula three times since December, 2021. Yesterday I was successful.
When we need to replace an expired or lost passport, we must transfer the previous attached visa.
Before the visa we received was applied like a sticker inside the passport.
Now they are issued as a paper visa that we carry with the passports.
No longer do they place decals in our passports.
So, this notice applies to the owners of the decal visas and not the digital visas.
To transfer a visa, the fee is $100 and the fee is 2 parts
The request for the transfer of the visa $50
The actual transfer of the visa is another $50
Tercer Edad, >64: the fee is half priced.
The requirements are as follows:
Formulario de Solicitude de Transferencias de Visa- see website
Passport original and copies includes the photo page does not say black and white or color copies
Moviemento de migratorio from the airport office which is $5 paid at Banco del Pacifico plus a small service fee
Seguro de Salud – proof of insurance
Documents to support your visa type. That list is specific to each visa
Pay the fee at BanEcuador Corriente 0010002823 MREMH 130309
I hope this helps but recheck with Azogues to verify the requirements

Good luck to all!
