This is a great time to travel. You may wish to see the countryside, a nearby town or village, get some new shoes made, buy some orchids or roses, or just get out of Cuenca for a few hours or a day.
I, Emilio Morocho, have spent much of my life here in Cuenca assisting people who want to do just that – get out of town. I fine-tuned my driving skills while living in the US and drive safely and courteously. What’s more, as a native Ecuadorian, I am very proud of my country and offer commentary as we travel – if you wish to talk. Of course, if we are driving in heavy traffic or extreme downpours, I will stop the conversation and focus completely on the road and whatever challenges it may be presenting. If you want to make a stop at some road-side or off-the-road attraction and have time to see it, I am more than happy to accommodate your desires.
Many have ridden with me and written nice recommendations for me on GringoPost and Facebook. I also have recommendations for my skills as interpreter and facilitator – both for simple things like grocery shopping or for more complex visits to the doctor.
Call me. I’ll be happy to set an appointment to serve your needs.
