Sally Lincoln’s work and Celda 211

On February 23rd of this year, 34 inmates were horribly assassinated in Turi’s jail. The horror amounted to nothing as there are still many unanswered questions and justice is yet to be served. Prisons all over Ecuador are a time bomb and these events are soon to happen again and again. Sally Lincoln created an art piece that highlights the horrible events that occurred. La Guarida is honored to show this incredible and powerful art work as we believe these events should not be easily forgotten. Sally Lincoln will accompany us and talk about her work before our projection of:
