We would like to invite you to join us in a fantastic day around Nabon.
We will pick you up at 8 AM at Plaza Otorongo and bring you to La Yunta, where Jim will cook us a fantastic English Breakfast, after it and with a full belly we will drive for 1 hour until Nabon where Adrian Aguirre will guide you around the town telling you about Nabon history, culture and traditions. During the walk you will enjoy the beauty of the colonial houses and meet the charming people.
Afterwards we are going to enjoy a traditional tortilla de trigo with cheese cooked by Doña Marina Ochoa.
Then we go to Nabon Orquideareo where you are going to see 200 species of orchids and enjoy a fantastic view of the town, there we can meet some strawberry and vegetable farmers so you can buy local produce food and vegetables.
For lunch we are going to visit China Vintmillla a Cuencano lady who decide to move and find her paradise in Nabon, she will cook for us Caldo de Gallina (Chicken soup) and a surprise dessert using products from her place.
We will visit her paradise which has many beautiful plants and other surprises.
Jose is going to bring his tequila made with Agave in Nabon for us to try and also different kinds of fruit wine and honey make with agave.
We will be back in Cuenca by 5:30 PM
