Karin, an 18-year-old single mother, supports herself and her one-year-old daughter selling trash bags around Feria Libre and the Coliseo. She worked hard to sell 10 packs every day in order to pay the rent and buy food. Until recently, she had no hope for anything more.
You changed that. The weekly food kit that she gets means she only needs to sell five packs a day.
But Karin is working even harder now. She is driven to make a better life for her daughter so she has gone back to high school and is determined to graduate.
