Join artist Cristian León G. and idiomART for an artistic / cultural camp called Musa during the summer vacation in August. Musa means “muse” and this course is designed to help you find the inspiration to create art and the techniques to make it happen.
Each week has a different focus and are Mon – Fri from 3 – 5 PM.
Week 1: Watercolor / Acuarela (Aug. 1 – 5)
– Learn basic watercolor painting techniques plus textures and different effects
Week 2: Stencils / Templates / Street Art (Aug. 8 – 12)
– Learn different street art techniques such as Wild Style, Bomba Style, Stencils, Tags, Paste & Fanzine
Week 3: Murals – Indoor & Outdoor (Aug. 15 – 19)
– Learn how to sketch out murals then transfer them to the wall as well as painting techniques with spray paint, brushes and rollers
This class is designed for young adults (13+) and the young at heart!
Cristian León is an accomplished abstract, contemporary, street and mural artist from Cuenca, Ecuador. He has had numerous art exhibitions and has painted various murals for both public institutions and private citizens. Learning from him is a real treat!
