This workshop will introduce you to everything you need to know about working with watercolors. You will play with basic methods, techniques, and painting ideas that will inspire you to ultimately find your own style. You’ll explore a variety of simple tools and supplies. You’ll learn what colors everyone should have in their palette, how to mix and apply pigment to paper, how to create a graded wash, how to test colors by making a color grid, the basics of color theory, and how watercolor can become the easiest of all painting mediums! In a fun learning method that won’t scare you right out of the box J, this class will give you an understanding of how to paint successfully with watercolors.
