My Miss Olivia is the worst cat in the world to vet. Growling, hissing, biting, stabbing – and that’s just when they open the carrier. Her last vet called her “The Vampire” and would drug her to trim her nails.
I tried Dra. Marcela Idrovo and had the best cat vet experience of all the cat and vets I’ve had. Dra. Marcela waved off our warnings, turned on some music and turned on some music, took Olivia from her crate, sat her on her lap and trimmed all toes without incident. She was also able to shave Olivia’s leg and draw blood. Not a peep from Miss O.
My husband, a borderline anti-catter, was shocked. I was so happy and relieved. When I went to pick up her records from her previous vet, Dr. Mora sang Dr. Marcella and showed me some cat calming products he got from her to try. I think he was relieved not to have to deal with my sweet vampire kitty anymore.
I highly recommend Dr. Marcela to any cat owner. Olivia was never stressed and unlike other vet visits, did not hide or refuse food when she got home.
