Another big shout-out is due to Alex. He’s been my go-to tech guru for almost a year now. First, he collaborated (behind my back) with my daughter (in the US) and my best friend here in Cuenca to buy a new (surprise gift from my daughter) laptop and delivered it, fully loaded, ready to fire up.
Since then, I’ve spent numerous hours with Alex in remote sessions (TeamViewer and AnyDesk) for periodic “scrubbing” and software installations and little tweaks and problem-solving. Most recently, he spent 3 hours helping me install a new software package, which was quite an ordeal, but with Alex’s infinite patience, we got it done.
Alex is not only super-experienced (25 years) and knowledgeable, he’s also an all-around nice guy, reliable, punctual, his English is excellent, and his rates more than reasonable. I can whole-heartedly recommend Alex (Alejandro) Mejia for all your computer-related issues. I understand he also does other tech work, but I have not had a need for anything else so far.
