Shaggy is a 2-3 year old dog that was rescued nine months ago and has lived with his rescuer in the countryside are where he was saved. His rescuer loves him very much but is not able to put a fence up because she rents and does not own the property. Unfortunately a while ago Shaggy got into something poisonous and became very sick but luckily he was able to be saved. He is now walked on a leash but he is very unhappy because he does not have a safe place to run and play. For this reason it is with a sad heart that his owner is trying to find a loving home where Shaggy can run and play in an enclosed, safe area.
Shaggy is about 75 pounds of love and has had all his shots and been neutered He is intelligent and can follow a variety of commands including come, sit, stand and lie down etc., walks well on a leash, is housebroken, does not chew on shoes or furniture and plays well with dogs and children. He lives around chickens without bothering them but he’s not a fan of cats.
