There is something magical about the happiness of a child receiving a Christmas gift. Sometimes, all it takes is a little ball, a teddy bear, a doll, a toy car, a Rubik’s Cube, or a coloring book to bring the biggest smile to a little face.
For many of the children we serve, even the smallest gift means so much. It reminds them that someone is thinking of them, that they matter, and that they haven’t been forgotten.
This Christmas, at The GRACE Foundation, we want to bring a little extra joy to children and families in Ecuador and Venezuela. And we would love your help!
CHRISTMAS IN ECUADOR – December 10–19 (Tentative Dates)
Dugdug, Paute – 152 children: Together with the Rotaract Tomebamba Club, we hope to bring Christmas to a rural community where assistance rarely reaches. Every child deserves to feel the excitement of Christmas!
GRACE Foundation – 100 children: A special celebration for children from the families we serve through our medical and community programs. Our space is limited, but we couldn’t let Christmas pass without doing something for them.
GRACE Youth Orchestra – 35 children and teenagers: Our young musicians receive free music education, building confidence, friendships, and opportunities for the future. We want to celebrate their dedication with a little Christmas surprise!
Healthy Beginnings Ecuador: we would love to prepare a thoughtful Christmas gift for the expectant mothers in our program and their babies. Because every baby deserves a beautiful beginning.
CHRISTMAS IN VENEZUELA – HeaVEN by GRACE
We are also introducing HeaVEN by GRACE, the initiative bringing together our humanitarian and community programs in Venezuela.
Through HeaVEN, we are currently working with local partners to support families affected by the earthquake, providing food, hygiene supplies, medical assistance, and support for pregnant women.
But this Christmas, we want to do something more.
Children in hospitals: Alongside essential medicines and supplies, we hope to bring small Christmas gifts to children spending the holidays in hospital beds.
Children in La Guaira: Some families are still living in tents and temporary shelters following the earthquake. Beyond food and essential supplies, we want to bring their children a little happiness, laughter, and hope.
After everything these families have experienced, we believe they deserve moments of joy, too.
Can you help us make christmas special?
We know this Christmas will be a big challenge. There are so many children we would love to reach, and our resources are limited. But we believe that with the kindness of our community, wonderful things are possible.
A small donation, a new toy, a teddy bear, a ball, a puzzle, or a coloring book can mean the world to a child.
